August 2009 This place was a real find the apartment is marvelous, comfortable, and clean; has everything that you need.Owners are very kind and they were very warm and friendly and could not do enough for us. House is situated on a narrow street where the neighbours chat to each other from their balconies. Piero will recommend some very good restaurants and even give you discount cards. Balestrate itself is wonderful mostly Italian tourist only met one English speaking couple the whole week. - Garry

October 2009 FriendsThe Sisily is very good in October. Weather is good for traveling on island and rest on a beach. The apartment in Balestrate was the magnificent - three floor house with a good vew on a central square. To road to the sea of 7-10 minutes.A lot of bars and shops near the house. Beaches at this time absolutely empty and the sea pure and quiet. We hired the car. The house from the airport have reached for 30 minutes. Mistress Mari Angela very lovely, she has suggested to lead excursion on a city. September 2009 CouplesThe service was excellent, the airport pick up was waiting for us when we arrived. All Team were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and incredibly helpful throughout the holiday whenever we needed anything, we really enjoyed spending the day at Baia le Grotte lido on Maria-Angela's plot.
The house was lovely, very close to the beautiful sandy beach, central to the main street and all the shops, restaurants & bars and the train station, a perfect base from which to explore Balestrate and also the rest of Northern Sicily.
Balestrate Is a lovely seaside town, with beautiful beaches and scenery. The main town square is a great place to grab a coffee or a drink and to sit and watch the world go by. Loved all the Gelati too.
Sicliy - Is beautiful, with great beaches and scenery. Lots to do and see for those who want some culture or you can just laze all day on the beach, relaxing and soaking up the sun. Great for a relaxing holiday at a much slower pace of life.
